Job summary

InnVentures is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for the Residence Inn Downtown Seattle Lake Union. You will perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related systems to ensure guest comfort and safety.

You will troubleshoot various devices, conduct safety inspections, and collaborate with other departments to meet hotel goals. Weekend/holiday availability and physical work are required.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance experience in a hotel or property management setting is preferred.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to stand and walk for an entire shift; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Available to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance on PTAC/HVAC equipment, furniture/cabinetry, appliances, light fixtures and plumbing.
• Perform interior and exterior painting, landscaping and parking lot repairs.
• Troubleshoot key card systems, internet equipment, TV equipment, and related tech.
• Execute routine safety inspections and report/repair issues with equipment or systems.
• Respond to guest requests with urgency and service mindset.
• Support hotel goals through teamwork with all departments.
