Qualifications

• Vocational schooling, military training, or certification in building trades.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 25–50 lbs.
• Ability to receive instructions and report progress.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance and complete work orders to maintain the hotel.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance like room care.
• Check electrical systems and make minor repairs.
• Repair equipment including boilers, pool equipment, HVAC, and plumbing.
• Service the hotel's pool and maintain chemical levels.
• Maintain building exterior and curb appeal.
• Refurbish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms.
• Move furniture and fixtures as needed.
• Respond courteously to guest questions and requests.
• Operate heavy machinery.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available regularly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
