Job summary

SpringHill Suites-Lexngtn in Lexington, KY is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to provide technical and maintenance services across the hotel, keeping equipment and systems in excellent condition. The role is full-time with weekends required, requiring clear guest-focused service and adherence to hotel standards.

You will perform routine preventive maintenance, check electrical/ HVAC systems, service pool equipment, and assist with major repairs while maintaining safety and high product quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in facility or hotel maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to perform routine repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Strong safety awareness and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure building systems run smoothly.
• Inspect and repair electrical, lighting, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Service pool equipment, chemicals, and filtration as needed.
• Replace ceiling tiles, light bulbs, and minor fixtures; report larger issues.
• Assist in major repairs of hotel equipment including boilers and machinery.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in work areas and storage spaces.
• Respond to maintenance requests and guest inquiries professionally.
• Operate heavy machinery and use hand/power tools to repair equipment.
