Job summary

Engage Hospitality is seeking a dedicated maintenance technician to perform general upkeep across the hotel property. The role requires physical labor and the ability to handle multiple infrastructure tasks, including electrical and plumbing, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will inspect rooms and public areas, replace lighting, ensure fire safety equipment is functional, and perform routine preventive maintenance on appliances and systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and building systems;
• Replace light bulbs and maintain proper lighting throughout the property;
• Inspect and ensure fire safety equipment (including exit signs and fire doors) is in proper working condition;
• Inspect ventilation systems and report or address any issues;
• Perform general maintenance and preventative maintenance on hotel equipment (e.g., washers, dryers, HVAC units, televisions, and other appliances);
• Complete minor repairs, including painting, patchwork, and general upkeep;
• Perform basic plumbing repairs, such as fixing leaks or unclogging drains;
• Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize work orders appropriately;
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance areas in a clean and organized manner;
• Keep accurate records of maintenance work as required by Company policy and applicable regulations;
• Respond to emergency situations and participate in on-call duties as needed;
• Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment;
• Assist other departments, including housekeeping, as needed; and
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements

Use of tools and equipment to perform maintenance tasks;
