Job summary

Omni Fort Lauderdale Hotel is seeking a dedicated Loss Prevention Associate to ensure guest and associate safety and uphold hotel policies. You will patrol the property, monitor CCTV and alarms, respond to incidents, and maintain thorough incident reports. CPR/First Aid certification and hospitality security experience are preferred.

The role requires flexibility to work day, evening, weekends, and holidays, with strong communication and professional appearance expected at all times.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in Loss Prevention preferred.
• Experience in upscale hospitality preferred.
• CPR and basic first aid certification required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and email.
• Attention to detail and professional appearance.
• Flexible schedule including days/evenings/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of restaurants, public areas, and guest floors.
• Respond to emergencies and security requests promptly.
• Monitor life safety programs, SOPs, and report deficiencies.
• Oversee CCTV, alarm systems, and security of receiving areas.
• Maintain Lost and Found program and write shift reports.
• Coordinate with leadership and document incidents in writing.
