Job summary

Remington Hospitality in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Laundry Attendant to sort, wash, dry, iron and stock linen for guest rooms and Food & Beverage outlets. You will operate laundry equipment and report any equipment issues to supervision.

You will follow chemical usage guidelines, MSDS, and safety standards while performing additional duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper.

Qualifications

• Linen handling and care for guest room and F&B linen.
• Safe operation of laundry equipment and reporting issues.
• Proper handling and measurement of cleaning chemicals per guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Sort, weigh, wash, dry, iron, fold and stock guest room and Food & Beverage linen
• Know and follow the operating functions of all equipment, reporting any damage, hazards or defective equipment to a supervisor
• Utilize chemicals used in washing, controlling quantities of supplies as recommended by chemical supplier with approval of Executive Housekeeper
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Follow all Material Safety Data Sheet documents and management company Safety Standards
