Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of kitchen experience
• Team oriented, empathetic, friendly and show initiative
• Represent the hotel in a professional manner to hotel guests

Responsibilities

• Performs all methods of cooking and portion control per hotel specifications.
• Knowledge of all kitchen equipment (ovens, grills, broilers, fryers, steam tables, mixers, knives, slicers).
• Uses kitchen equipment properly and safely.
• Maintains food line and stocks items as needed.
• Continuously stocks/restocks items as required.
• Keeps cooking equipment clean and sanitary.
• Completes all assigned cleaning tasks during shift.
• Notifies supervisor of safety hazards and guest complaints.
• Ensures proper handling and storage of all food.
• Maintains neat, clean, professional appearance and protects assets.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
