Job summary

Kana Hotel Group is seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant for our Knoxville area locations. You will load, wash, dry, and fold linens, ensure proper detergent usage, and maintain clean and secure laundry facilities.

The role requires independent work and reliable customer service with a focus on efficiency and cleanliness. Previous housekeeping experience and familiarity with washer/dryer equipment are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Experience with washer/dryer equipment required.
• Ability to work independently.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Load articles into washers and dryers.
• Operate washer and dryer controls and add cleaning agents as specified.
• Clean lint in dryer filters twice daily.
• Sort and transfer linens between washer and dryer; start new loads as needed.
• Ensure laundry rooms are secure before clocking out.
• Maintain inventory of linens per floor and on-hand supplies.
• Fold and stack towels and linens.
• Clean storeroom and laundry area; process damaged linen.
• Ensure appropriate linen levels on each floor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
