Cotton-House in Cleveland, MS is seeking a Laundry Attendant to manage washing, drying and sorting of hotel linens while maintaining a clean work area and friendly attitude towards guests and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Flexible and long hours may be required.
• Ability to lift, carry, push or pull objects.
• Ability to stand during the shift.
• Must communicate clearly with staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Understand operation of washing machines and dryers.
• Load and unload washes per standards.
• Wash and dry all linens and towels.
• Sort linen by type, color and size.
• Pre-treat stained linen before washing.
• Clean dryer filter daily and maintain equipment.
• Operate iron and ensure it is off at end of day.
• Sweep and mop laundry floors and store linens off the floor.
• Fold towels and linens.
• Remove dirty linens from carts and keep carts clean.
• Maintain clean work area and sort clean laundry.
• Ensure guest satisfaction through efficient service.
