Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor laundry equipment such as washers and dryers.
• Select appropriate cleaning materials for different textiles.
• Maximize efficiency and conserve water by managing load size.
• Remove debris from floors after sorting.
• Inspect cleanliness of laundered articles and place in linen carts.
• Identify stained or damaged linen for repair, rewash, or discard.
• Fold articles to designated sizes manually or with a folding machine.
• Clean lint traps and maintain laundry area cleanliness.
• Maintain accurate records of items laundered and replenish supplies as needed.
• Wear appropriate PPE and ensure area meets safety standards.
