Expect to work in a fast-paced hotel environment with emphasis on accuracy, speed, and guest satisfaction. Applicants should be able to stand for long periods and handle up to 30 lb loads as needed.

Qualifications

• High school education is not required.
• Up to one month related experience or training.
• Ability to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare linen by removing foreign objects before washing.
• Wash and dry laundry using correct formulas for each load.
• Fold items per brand standards or supervisor directions.
• Ensure finished laundry is wrinkle-free and free of stains.
• Maintain a clean, orderly laundry area and check lint traps daily.
• Keep towels, linens, and sheets clean, ironed when needed, and stored properly.
• Work at a steady pace to meet inventory needs and guest expectations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
