Job summary

The Holiday Inn Express Charlottesville is seeking a full-time Laundry Attendant to maintain cleanliness and presentation standards by efficiently managing all laundry operations. You will sort, wash, dry, fold, and deliver linens to support guest satisfaction and comfort.

Responsibilities include operating and maintaining commercial laundry machines safely, inspecting items for stains or wear, and coordinating with housekeeping to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and guest laundry

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Operate commercial laundry equipment safely.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic understanding of laundry processes and stain removal techniques.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, and guest laundry according to hotel standards.
• Operate and maintain commercial laundry machines, including washers, dryers, and pressing equipment, ensuring proper use and safety.
• Inspect laundry items for stains, damage, or wear and report any issues to management for appropriate action.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to comply with health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and front desk teams to ensure timely delivery and availability of clean linens and guest laundry services.
