Job summary

Ambassador Hotel Tulsa is hiring a Dishwasher for Chalkboard Restaurant to maintain clean dishes and kitchen equipment, support culinary teams, and uphold safety and sanitation standards. You will operate commercial dishwashing equipment, keep kitchens organized, and assist during busy periods while adhering to all health and safety guidelines.

The role requires strong time-management and teamwork, with flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in stewarding or dishwashing and hospitality preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation and chemical handling preferred.
• Ability to operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, sanitized dishes, cookware, glassware, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and ensure items are clean.
• Clean floors, walls, drains and back-of-house spaces during each shift.
• Remove trash, recycling, food waste and grease; keep disposal areas organized.
• Keep walk-ins, storage and receiving areas clean and guest-ready.
• Support culinary team by maintaining adequate supply of clean wares.
• Safely handle cleaning chemicals and sanitation tools; report equipment issues promptly.
• Work with Culinary and Food & Beverage teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow all safety, sanitation and environmental standards.
