Job summary

Gravity Haus in Steamboat Springs, CO is seeking a Hotel Hausperson to keep public spaces clean, organized, and welcoming for members and guests. You’ll support the Haus-Keeping team by maintaining lobbies, corridors, and back‑of‑house areas while helping ensure the property looks its best.

This full-time role requires attention to detail, the ability to work evenings (5:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.), and a collaborative approach to daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public spaces including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, restrooms, fitness areas, and other shared spaces to ensure the property remains clean, organized, and welcoming for members and guests.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, sanitize, and periodically deep clean public areas, furniture, and fixtures to uphold Gravity Haus cleanliness standards.
• Support daily housekeeping operations through linen and supply delivery, trash and recycling removal, laundry transport, and restocking housekeeping and service areas as needed.
• Respond promptly to housekeeping and guest service needs, including spills, broken glass, special cleaning requests, and other operational support tasks across the property.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning and housekeeping supplies and ensure all equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and stored after each shift.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, property damage, and lost‑and‑found items in accordance with company procedures and guest privacy standards.
• Work collaboratively with the Haus-Keeping team and other departments to support efficient daily operations and consistently deliver a clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest experience.

As a Hotel Houseperson (we call them Hausperson) you’ll be responsible for keeping the property clean, organized, and welcoming for members and guests. This role supports the Haus-Keeping team by maintaining public spaces, hallways, and back‑of‑house areas while helping ensure the property looks and feels its best each day.

Schedule

We are seeking someone who is available to work evening shifts, typically 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements.
• Comfortable working on varying schedules, including weekends and holidays.
