The role involves supervising staff, budgeting assistance, enforcing policies, and coordinating daily activities to maintain an inviting hotel environment. Minimum 2 years in a similar supervisory role and strong MS Office/housekeeping software skills are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in housekeeping.
• Experience managing staff schedules, evaluations, and training.
• Proficiency in budgeting, inventory management, and cost control.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and housekeeping software.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving skills with guest and staff concerns.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping and laundry staff, including evaluations.
• Assist in managing department budget and cost control systems.
• Enforce departmental policies and procedures to maintain service standards.
• Ensure quality services to meet guest needs and satisfaction.
• Direct hourly associates in housekeeping and laundry departments.
• Prepare daily assignment sheets for all housekeeping and laundry staff.
• Maintain cleanliness standards in guest rooms and public areas.
• Inspect and address substandard conditions.
• Report status of guestrooms to the front desk.
• Coordinate with security on lost and found items.
• Maintain departmental productivity and labor cost goals.
• Oversee inventories of linen, supplies, and equipment.
