Job summary

Hampton Inn & Suites Jennings is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented housekeeper to maintain clean guest rooms, corridors, and public areas in a 24/7 operation.

No heavy experience required, but prior housekeeping is preferred. The role offers weekends flexibility, competitive pay of $10–$14 per hour, health insurance, paid vacations, a monthly bonus and a 401k with a match. Candidates should lift up to 30 pounds, stand long hours, and follow sanitation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products and methods.
• Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Prior housekeeping experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean corridors, lobbies, stairways, elevators and guest rooms.
• Organize work schedule from status lists and arrivals/departures.
• Distribute linen and supplies using carts or by hand.
• Restock room supplies and replace dirty linens with clean items.
• Inspect and turn mattresses; store soiled laundry per policy.
