Job summary

The Cincinnatian Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton in Downtown Cincinnati is hiring for full-time Housekeeping Attendants. You must be flexible to work 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm, with weekday and weekend availability required.

Primary duties include cleaning guest rooms to brand standards, handling linens and trash, and reporting maintenance needs. Knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe chemical handling is essential.

Daily pay is offered, with access to up to 50% of earned wages after every shift.

Qualifications

• 1 year of housekeeping experience preferred.
• Must be flexible in work hours to accommodate last minute changes in scheduling.
• Must be available to work weekend shifts.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, cleaning techniques and safe use of chemicals is essential.
• Must be able to change tasks and adjust energy level to a fast-paced environment.
• Must achieve required threshold scores according to brand and company inspections.

Responsibilities

• Ensures customer satisfaction by cleaning guest rooms according to brand standards.
• Removes soiled linens and replaces with clean linens as required.
• Removes trash and debris from rooms as required.
• Cleans bathrooms, dusts surfaces, replenishes amenities, and vacuums as required.
• Reports unusual circumstances to Hotel Management and maintenance requests.
• Maintains neat, stocked, and orderly supply cart.
• Ensures linen closet contents are organized and stocks maintained.

PRIMARY PURPOSE: To maximize customer satisfaction by providing neat and clean guestrooms, in accordance with company and brand standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures customer satisfaction by cleaning customer rooms according to SREE and brand standards
• Removes soiled bed and bath linens and replaces with clean linens, as required
• Removes accumulated trash and debris from room as required
• Cleans bathroom area, dusts all surfaces, replenishes room amenities, cleans floors and vacuums rooms as required
• Reports unusual circumstances to Hotel Management
• Reports maintenance requests and replacement orders
• Maximizes job efficiency by ensuring the supply cart is neat, stocked and orderly
• Ensures quality and quantity of the contents of the linen closet by organizing and cleaning it and notifies housekeeping manager or supervisor immediately if any stock shortages exist

JOB SETTING AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Employees in this position work primarily indoors. To perform the job successfully the candidate must be able to stand for long periods of time, kneel, bend and crawl, squat and crouch, and tolerate exposure to dust and cleaning chemicals. Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry a minimum weight of approximately 30 lbs.
