Job summary

Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is seeking a friendly, service-oriented Houseperson to join our team. In this role, you will support hotel operations, deliver guest-focused service, and help maintain clean and welcoming spaces across guestrooms and public areas.

The position offers an hourly wage of $15.00–$16.00, with flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed, contributing to a positive guest experience and team success.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or hotel settings preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and cleanliness standards.
• Professional and courteous guest-service skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, public areas, and other spaces according to hotel standards.
• Make beds, change linens, replenish supplies, dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize surfaces.
• Inspect areas for cleanliness, damage, or maintenance needs and report issues promptly.
• Respond to guest requests with courtesy and urgency.
• Handle guest belongings and hotel property responsibly and according to procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, supplies, and work areas in an organized condition.
• Follow chemical handling, sanitation, safety, and infection-control procedures.
• Assist with deep cleaning and special projects as assigned.
• Communicate room status and maintenance needs to appropriate hotel departments.
