Job summary

Commonwealth Hotels at Candlewood Suites Greenwood in Greenwood, IN is seeking Hotel Room Attendant, Guest Room Attendant or Housekeeper to ensure guests experience a clean and welcoming environment.

You will be responsible for cleaning rooms, restocking supplies, inspecting rooms, maintaining public areas, and supporting safety and guest requests, with weekend/holiday availability required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience with guest satisfaction.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms, including bed making, linens, dusting, vacuuming, and bathroom sanitizing.
• Restock guest room amenities and supplies as needed.
• Inspect rooms and report maintenance issues.
• Maintain public areas such as hallways, lounges, and restrooms.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe guest and staff environment.
• Provide courteous guest service and address requests promptly.
• Handle laundry duties: washing, drying, ironing, and delivering linens.
• Monitor and restock inventory of cleaning supplies and amenities.
• Prepare rooms for new guests to meet cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities for the Hotel Room Attendant, Guest Room Attendant, or Housekeeper include:

• Cleaning and Sanitizing: Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.


• Restocking Supplies: Replenish guest room amenities such as toiletries, towels, coffee, and other items as needed.


• Inspecting Rooms: Ensure all room equipment and furniture are in good working condition and report any maintenance issues.


• Maintaining Public Areas: Occasionally assist in cleaning and maintaining public areas such as hallways, lounges, and restrooms.


• Adhering to Safety Standards: Follow proper cleaning procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.


• Guest Interaction: Provide courteous and professional service, addressing guest requests or concerns promptly and efficiently.


• Laundry Duties: Handle laundry services, including collecting, washing, folding, and delivering linens and towels.


• Inventory Management: Monitor and report inventory levels of cleaning supplies and amenities, ensuring timely restocking.


• Room Setup: Prepare rooms for new guests, ensuring they meet the hotel's standards of cleanliness and comfort.

What We Are Looking for Hotel Room Attendant, Hotel Guest Room Attendant, or Hotel Housekeeper including:
