Job summary

Hampton Inn Waukegan, part of MCR, is seeking a Housekeeper to clean guest rooms, hallways, and public areas to high standards while restocking supplies and assisting with hotel operations.

The role focuses on guest relations, teamwork, and safety, with an emphasis on prompt, friendly service and attention to detail. Prior hospitality experience is preferred; candidates must be 18+, able to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow established guidelines and procedures.
• Must work well under pressure and in stressful situations.
• Effective listening and conflict resolution with guests and colleagues.
• Strong hospitality and guest service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Pre-cleaning and stocking: prepare supplies on assigned cart and attend stand-up.
• Clean and restock guest rooms as assigned per shift.
• Handle additional cleaning projects in storage rooms, public spaces, or guest areas as needed.
