Job summary

Holiday Inn Express Durango is seeking a hotel housekeeper to maintain cleanliness of guest rooms and public spaces, ensuring guest comfort and safety.

You will make beds, replenish supplies, and clean corridors, lobbies, restrooms, and other areas of the property according to brand standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to carry out specific oral or written instructions, frequently following a simple routine.
• Ability to perform repetitive actions consistently.

Responsibilities

• Make beds in guest rooms.
• Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, writing supplies and bathroom supplies in guest rooms.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairs, and locker rooms and other work areas.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using a vacuum cleaner.
• Dust furniture and equipment.
• Polish metalwork, such as fixtures and fittings.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets and empty and clean ashtrays.
• Transport trash and waste to disposal area.
• Replace light bulbs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Purpose:

To maintain cleanliness of all spaces within the hotel.

Pay Range:

$17.50-$18.50 per hour
Sundays $1 extra per hour
