Job summary

Spire Hospitality LLC is seeking a dedicated hotel housekeeping support role in Goleta, CA. You will help maintain cleanliness of guest corridors, foyers, and public areas, assisting room attendants to uphold high standards.

The position pays $19/hour with potential for varying schedules, including nights and weekends as needed by the hotel. Candidates should be able to lift up to 100 lbs and follow safety procedures. Previous janitorial experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of stain removal and chemical cleaning agents.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push or pull heavy equipment up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
• Ability to learn hazardous chemical training standards.
• Basic ability to understand English for safety and security instructions.

Responsibilities

• Stock linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants; may include taking supplies to room attendants.
• Empty room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash.
• Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and door; polish mirrors and elevator doors.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers.
• Flip mattresses and move furniture as assigned by supervisor.
• Assist room attendants with removal of trash and linen during high occupancy turnover.
• Assist carpet cleaner with relocation of furniture; respond to guest questions and provide directions.
• Provide instruction for guest and employee safety in emergencies.
• Other duties such as assisting room attendants or lobby attendants when requested.
