Job summary

Hotel Equities is seeking a General Manager for the Orangewood Inn and Suites in Kansas City, MO. The role leads all operations, guest and employee satisfaction, HR, financials, sales and revenue generation for a 137-room property transitioning to Four Points by Sheraton in 2026/2027.

The GM will implement brand strategies, drive profit, and guide the leadership team, partners with local officials, and ensure strong guest service and account management to maximize performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hotel leadership in a select-service property.
• Impeccable results with Marriott, Hyatt, IHG, Hilton or similar brands.
• Strong financial acumen including P&L review, budget creation and cost controls.
• Working knowledge of Profit Sword, ADP, and One Yield.
• Well organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Excellent initiative, perseverance and analytical skills.
• Able to deliver exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary strategic business leader for the property.
• Oversee guest and employee satisfaction, HR, financial performance, sales and revenue generation.
• Ensure implementation of the brand service strategy and initiatives.
• Hold the property leadership team accountable for strategy execution.
• Guide professional development of the property leadership team and all team members.
• Ensure sales engines are leveraged.
• Build owner loyalty through proactive communication and solid business results.
• Engage with local community to build relationships with officials, businesses and customers.
