DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Naples is seeking a reliable Hotel Maintenance Technician to perform general repairs, preventative maintenance, and upkeep of guest suites, public areas, and hotel facilities. This hands-on role requires problem-solving, safety awareness, and a commitment to a welcoming guest environment.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel maintenance or general building maintenance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and general repairs.
• A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent guest service.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple requests and tasks.

This hands-on role is responsible for performing general repairs, preventative maintenance, and upkeep of our guest suites, public areas, and hotel facilities. We're looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving, takes pride in their work, and understands the importance of maintaining a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel, including guest suites, public areas, meeting spaces, and back-of house facilities. Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure hotel equipment, systems, and facilities operate safely and efficiently. Troubleshoot and perform repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, technology, and other building systems Respond promptly and professionally to guest maintenance requests, minimizing disruption to guest experience. Identify and address maintenance concerns before they impact hotel operations or guest satisfaction. Maintain hotel grounds, equipment, and facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety and proper working order. Work collaboratively with Housekeeping, Front Desk, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Skill and Knowledge Requirements

SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE Previous hotel maintenance or general building maintenance experience preferred. Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and general repairs. A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent guest service. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple requests and tasks. Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship. Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical and Mental Requirements

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical tasks throughout shift. Ability to safely lift and move equipment and supplies, up to 25 lbs. regularly, 30-35 lbs. frequently, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
