Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a seasoned Controller to lead the hotel's financial activities in San Diego. You will oversee accounting, reporting, and compliance with GAAP and HEI standards while partnering with the General Manager and corporate office.

You will analyze statements, manage budgets and capital expenditures, supervise cash controls, and ensure accurate financial data for ownership decisions.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Accounting or Hotel Management preferred.
• 3+ years experience in hotel/hospitality finance and accounting.

Responsibilities

• Perform special financial analysis as requested by GM and Corporate Office.
• Provide accurate financial reporting based on GAAP and HEI standards.
• Ensure timely communication with ownership group.
• Maintain cash controls and audit reports for each period.
• Coordinate the annual operating budget and capital expenditures per SOP.
