Hampton Inn & Suites - Chicago North Shore / Skokie is seeking a Maintenance Attendant to keep hotel facilities in excellent working order. You will perform routine maintenance and repairs, coordinate with housekeeping, and respond to guest requests with a proactive, friendly demeanor.

Starting pay ranges from $20.00 to $21.00 per hour, with increases at 30, 60, and 90 days based on performance. This full-time role offers benefits, training, and opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting and carrying equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
• Friendly and professional demeanor with excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Prior maintenance experience or related role is preferred, but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address issues.
• Work with housekeeping and front desk teams to resolve maintenance requests quickly and efficiently.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests during shifts.
