Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to address preventive and repair work on hotel mechanical and electrical systems. You will care for FF&E, grounds, and pool areas, ensuring safety and quality across the property.

The role requires knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, with the ability to follow procedures, document logs, and support other engineering staff in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance trades including electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for operation and repair of hotel equipment.
• Recognize safety hazards and act accordingly.
• Willing to comply with hotel policies, appearance and grooming standards.
• Skilled in multiple trades such as HVAC, carpentry, painting, roofing and landscaping.
• Troubleshoot and repair routine hotel system malfunctions.
• Able to use basic hand and electric tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical/electrical systems throughout the hotel.
• Performs preventive maintenance on a schedule basis.
• Maintains pool and related chemistry, filters, and logs.
• Maintains building exterior and curb appeal.
• Follows safety and security procedures and rules.
• Reports unsafe conditions and accidents to supervisor.
• Assists other engineering personnel as needed.
• Performs related duties as requested by supervisor/manager.
