Job summary

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Naples North seeks a Director of Engineering to lead facilities maintenance, oversee operation, service and repair of on-site equipment, and supervise the maintenance staff under the General Manager. The person ensures safety, efficiency and regulatory compliance while guiding renovations, expansions and improvements.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of management experience in a hotel or related field, and licensure in a relevant trade

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience, including some prior management experience.
• Experience in a hotel or a related field required.
• Licensed in a trade preferred (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
• Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements maintenance policies and procedures.
• Schedules preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Ensures repairs comply with policies and regulations; maintains records.
• Leads associates and handles hiring and performance management.
• Contributes to strategic planning with senior management.
