Job summary

Starwood Hotels is seeking an affable, reliable Engineer to keep the property running smoothly, attend to HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs, and maintain guest comfort and safety. The role emphasizes teamwork, guest interaction, and proactive maintenance in a dynamic hospitality setting.

Responsibilities include handling repairs, logging maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety standards while supporting a 24-hour operation and high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering and maintenance or related area.
• HVAC-R, electrical, and plumbing training.
• Strong leadership, able to work in fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and team-working abilities.
• Flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest and in-house repair requests; fix plumbing, HVAC issues.
• Perform maintenance on equipment and walls; repairs as needed.
• Maintain daily logs of operation and maintenance and safety records.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with safety standards and procedures.
• Coordinate with leaders to resolve maintenance issues and communicate clearly.
