Job summary

Sheraton Suites Philadelphia Airport in Philadelphia, PA, seeks an experienced hotel maintenance engineer. You will respond to service calls within 30 minutes, troubleshoot, and complete repairs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building systems.

You will coordinate with other trades and ensure compliance with codes. The role requires reading blueprints, state licensure where required, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel engineering experience required, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building construction
• State certification or licensure where required
• Understand and operate advanced electrical, plumbing, refrigeration and boiler systems
• Read and understand blueprints, schematic drawings and technical parts breakdown
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls within half an hour of receipt
• Identify defects, troubleshoot malfunctions, take corrective action as needed
• Follow procedures for repair, maintenance, alterations and installations
• Comply with applicable codes and regulations
• Coordinate with electricians, carpenters, painters and night engineers on projects
