Job summary

Sunday River Resort in Newry, Maine, is seeking a Bell Person/Valet to be the face of our resort and hotel. You will assist guests with luggage, store ski gear, and may park vehicles, delivering a superior guest experience in all weather.

This seasonal role offers both full-time and part-time shifts. You will greet guests, manage departures and arrivals, know the events and activities nearby, keep areas clean, and ensure every guest leaves with a fond farewell.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous experience is preferred but not required.
• Valets must have a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm welcome for all guests
• Working knowledge of departures and arrivals
• Knowledge of events and activities at the resort and the local area
• Keeping all work areas clean and safe
• Safely parking and retrieving guest’s vehicles
• Assisting with snow removal and salting/sanding in guest areas
• Police the parking areas for proper guest parking of all vehicles
• Prepared to work outside in all weather conditions
• Performs any other task as requested by the manager
• Send every guest off with a fond farewell

Compensation & Benefits

• Wage ranges from at $ 15.50 to $22, depending on experience and qualifications, plus gratuities , with opportunities for professional growth and advancement
