Job summary

TechSpec Inc. is seeking a Hot Working Laborer to support daily operations in the rolling mill, heat-treating area, and conditioning area. The role involves standing for long periods and working 10-hour shifts across five days with occasional weekends.

The position offers a hiring bonus of $5,000 and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, 401(k) with matching, and life insurance. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail with commitment to quality.
• Ability to operate forklift.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs., bend, stand, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, or shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manual lifting, manipulation of high temperature titanium bars using tongs and other hot-working tools.
• Furnace loading/unloading.
• Maintain and follow all applicable safety protocols.
• Maintain material and bar location identifications.
• Forklift operation.
• Guide set-up and tooling changes.
• Manual operation of bar conditioning tools.
