General Air Service & Supply Co Inc. seeks a Hot Shot Driver to deliver gas and liquid cylinders, dry ice, and hard goods in the Commerce City area. You will operate non-CMV vehicles, secure loads, perform inspections, and maintain paperwork while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a CDL Class B with Hazmat endorsement, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. A $1500 sign-on bonus is offered along with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

Position Description:

The Hot Shot Driver supports our customers by delivering products on time and accurately. Products include both gas and liquid cylinders, dry ice, and hard goods. Our drivers are motivated individuals who obey all the rules, regulations, and safety concerns associated with the handling and transporting hazardous material while maintaining a clean motor vehicle record.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Operate a wide variety of non-CMV vehicles safely.
• Ensure each load is secure, as well as accurate.
• Conduct thorough pre and post trip inspections.
• Complete paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Work with little supervision.
• Operate electronic and digital tools as needed.
• Recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these
  situations.
• Perform each delivery in a safe manner, including the use of all PPE.
• Represent the company through professional conduct on and off the road.
• Communicate effectively with customers, fellow employees, and management.
• Be willing to do pickup and delivery of parts, drivers, trucks, and products.
• Drive in any weather condition safely.
• Clean, organize and maintain vehicle condition.
• Ensure delivery process is completed safely and through completion.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Team:

• CDL Class B with Hazmat Endorsement
• Must have High School education or equivalent
• Knowledge of geographic area of the Front Range, preferred
• Previous experience driving and making deliveries, preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong Organizational skills
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Work independently and with teams
• Resource and resolve problems effectively
• Approach work duties in a consistent and systematic manner
• Clean MVR with record of safe driving
• Basic computer and digital tools skills
• Strong track record of being safe
• Hands-on, able to lift up to 70lbs, and handle physically demanding work, and work in all weather conditions
