Job summary

Doral Corporation is seeking a dependable Class A CDL hotshot truck driver to transport wide steel frame loads from Milwaukee, WI to Lebanon, IN. Expect two trips per week with overnight stays; hotel and per diem provided. The project spans 1.5–2 years with potential future opportunities after completion.

The role requires DOT compliance, load securement expertise, and a strong safety record. Previous hotshot/flatbed experience is a major plus.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Clean MVR with no DUI in last 5 years.
• Ability to pass DOT drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a new hotshot truck and gooseneck trailer.
• Transport wide loads from Milwaukee, WI to Lebanon, IN, twice weekly with overnight stays.
• Secure, inspect, and verify load before departure.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and logs.

Compensation

$33.00 - $35.00 per hour based on experience

About the Role

We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Class A CDL Hotshot Truck Driver to transport a WIDE load of steel frames from Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Lebanon, Indiana 2 times per week which will include an overnight per run. Hotel and per diem will be provided. The ideal candidate has commercial driving experience, understands DOT regulations, and takes pride in delivering freight on time. This will be a 1.5 - 2 year project. Additional opportunities after completion.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a new hotshot truck 2025 Ford F450 and 2027 gooseneck trailer.
• Transport steel frames 13'6\" WIDE. Delivery will be contingent upon state approved permitted routing (No toll roads). Return trip will be empty.
• Secure, inspect, and verify load before departure.
• Completepre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork, E logs, and load documentation.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Communicate professionally with dispatcher and customers.
• Maintain the truck and trailer in safe operating condition.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Clean and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). No DUI's in last 5 years.
• Ability to pass required DOT drug and alcohol testing
• Knowledge of loadsecurement and DOT safety regulations.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Previous hotshot, flatbed, or freight-hauling experience preferred. Oversize is a MAJOR plus.
