Tech24 is seeking an HVACR Technician with a preference for hot side work to service commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment in Biloxi, MS. You will diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of systems while delivering exceptional customer service.

The role requires 3+ years of repair experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting. A company vehicle, paid time off, and comprehensive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in commercial foodservice/refrigeration repair.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with commercial kitchen equipment is a plus.
• Ability to read/interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers).
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration systems (walk-ins, reach-ins, prep tables, ice machines).
• Perform preventive maintenance for safe, efficient operation.
• Document service calls, parts, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system.
• Communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers.
• Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked.
• Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Represent the company with professionalism and high-quality service.
• Follow safety regulations and company policies.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development.

Position Summary

As part of the TEMCO team and broader Tech24 network, the Hot & Cold Technician plays a critical role in servicing both commercial cooking (hot side) and refrigeration (cold side) equipment. This role is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of commercial kitchen and refrigeration systems while delivering exceptional customer service. This position is ideal for a skilled technician who takes pride in solving problems, minimizing customer downtime, and representing the company with professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers, etc.)
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration systems (walk-ins, reach-ins, prep tables, ice machines, etc.)

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial foodservice and/or refrigeration repair experience
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment is a plus
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. and work in varying indoor/outdoor conditions
• Ability to climb ladders, work from heights, and crawl in tight quarters
• Own industry‑standard hand tools
• Willingness to participate in an on‑call rotation as needed
• EPA Universal certification preferred

Compensation Transparency

The advertised pay range for this position is $30-$40 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience level, technical certifications, skill set, and overall qualifications. Candidates with advanced expertise in both commercial hot‑side and cold‑side equipment may be considered toward the higher end of the range.
