MGM Resorts International is seeking a Hostperson for Sadelle’s inside Bellagio in Las Vegas. You will welcome guests with professionalism, manage reservations, seat guests efficiently, and coordinate with servers and runners to ensure an elevated guest experience.

This role emphasizes hospitality, teamwork, and attention to detail in a high-end resort setting, with opportunities to contribute to a show-stopping dining experience and customer satisfaction.

THE JOB:

As a Hostperson at Sadelle’s inside Bellagio, you will be the first impression of an exceptional dining experience, warmly welcoming guests with professionalism, genuine hospitality, and attention to detail. In this highly visible role, you will help create a seamless and memorable guest journey by managing reservations, seating guests efficiently, and maintaining a polished, organized, and inviting restaurant environment. You will work closely with Food Servers, Bus Persons, and Food Runners to coordinate table management, communicate guest needs, and ensure every guest receives the elevated service and hospitality that define the Sadelle’s and Bellagio experience.

THE STARTING RATE:

$21.99 Hourly

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Communicate with Restaurant Reservations regarding special orders, cake orders, special requests – responsible for conveying all such information to management
• Maintain knowledge of scheduled daily activities and in‑house groups, daily house count, table/seat/station numbers, proper table set ups, room capacity, hours of operation, price range and dress code of the restaurant
• Greet guests promptly as they enter the restaurant
• Answer phones, keep accurate count of reservations and handle reservation book
• Ensure menus have proper inserts and are current according to the most recent change, and replace all menus in poor condition
• Communicate the needs of the guests to the kitchen and management, inform management of guest reactions and comments, and assist management as needed to ensure smooth operation and quality service
• Frequently check back with guests who are waiting to be seated; make it evident to guests that they have not been forgotten and that tables are being prepared for them
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas; shut down podium and forward phones to voice‑loop at end of shift

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 21+ years of age
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
• 2+ years of prior experience working in a restaurant as a dining host preferred
• Experience working in a similar resort setting preferred
• Prior experience working in a high volume, fast‑paced restaurant preferred
• Experience working in a similar resort setting preferred
