Job summary

The Haymaker Peoria is hiring for AM and PM hosts to warmly welcome guests and ensure a great dining experience. This is a flexible opportunity with part-time and full-time options, designed for individuals who enjoy fast-paced, high-energy environments.

As a Host/Hostess, you’ll greet guests, manage wait lists, assist with to-go orders, answer calls, and help team members while maintaining a clean, friendly atmosphere. Prior hosting is preferred, and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Friendly, warm, and caring attitude that's always ready to greet with a smile.
• Thinks and acts quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Capable of working with others in a team-oriented environment.
• Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food when necessary.
• 1 year hosting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with warmth and provide a welcoming first impression.
• Answer telephone, gather information, direct calls and take to-go orders.
• Manage wait list and communicate guest concerns to management.
• Assist with to-go orders and bussing/sanitizing tables after use.
• Support fellow team members to ensure smooth service.

We are seeking fun, outgoing, and high-energy individuals to join our team as part-time and/or full-time Hosts/Hostesses

Hosting at The Haymaker Peoria:

• Big smiles and happy hearts with big personality
• Give a warm welcome to every guest
• Answering telephone, gather information, and direct calls and take to-go orders
• Communicate Guest concerns to the Manager as appropriate
• Manage the wait list
• Assisting with to-go orders
• Helping fellow Team Members when appropriate
