RUSTY BUCKET RESTAURANT AND TAVERN is seeking a Host to join our team. The role involves creating a welcoming first impression, seating guests, and maximizing service quality. Starting pay is $12.00-$16.00/hour based on experience, with benefits and a 60+ restaurant network.

The Host will coordinate with staff to ensure guest satisfaction, handle requests and concerns, and uphold safety and sanitation standards across shifts. Opportunities for growth are highlighted in the benefits list.

Who are We? We are a fun, fast, friendly neighborhood tavern.

What is Your Role? To make “Raving Fans” of our Associates, Guests, Purveyors, Partners, and the Communities in which we do business.

Summary: It is the responsibility of the Host to make raving fans of the five major groups of people we do business with by creating a positive first impression and making our guests feel welcome on phone and in person. The Host controls the seating of the guests in the dining room to assure the quality of service, guest satisfaction, and maximize sales opportunities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Reports to work on time as indicated on the work schedule. Uniform meets restaurant requirements and is maintained and cleaned. Practices positive personal hygiene and cleanliness habits during all work shifts.
• Exemplifies hospitality standards. Answers guests' questions about the restaurant. Handles requests and complaints with guest satisfaction as the priority.
• Cooperates with management and co-workers to assists others with duties, if needed. Communicates suggestions for improvement in a positive fashion.
• Follows all national, state, and local safety, health, and sanitation guidelines as specified by the restaurant. Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.
• Knows emergency procedures in the restaurants
• Performs all duties and maintains knowledge of all standards and procedures as stated in the associate handbook.
