Job summary

Bally's Corporation in Dover, Delaware, is seeking a friendly restaurant server to greet guests, seat parties, relay compliments and concerns, and provide accurate wait times to ensure smooth service.

You will maintain a neat front-of-house, learn the menu, take drinks, answer phones, manage reservations for large groups, and rotate stations for even workloads. This union-represented role requires weekend/nights availability and ABC certification before starting.

Qualifications

• Good English communication skills (required).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they walk through the door.
• Seat guests and take initial drink orders to ensure speed of service.
• Check reservations and seat guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Provide patrons with accurate wait time estimates during busy periods.
• Relays guest compliments and complaints to the supervisor.
• Answer phones and schedule reservations for large parties.
• Maintain a neat, organized front-of-house environment.
• Learn food and beverage menu.
• Rotate seating between stations to ensure even workloads for waitstaff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Seat guests and take initial drink orders as needed to ensure ideal speed of service.
• Assist with opening/closing tasks and side work as needed.
• Learn food and beverage menu.
• Rotate seating between different stations to ensure even workloads for waitstaff.
• Answer phones and schedule reservations with large parties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

• Union Representation: This position is represented by Unite Here and is subject to the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and nights as scheduled.
