Job Description

• Provides quality customer service as a Nutritional Services liaison to both patients and staff.
• Collects patient menus and patient food preferences.
• Delivers and retrieves patient meal trays and nourishments.
• Maintains nourishment area on unit.
• Enters and retrieves patient food data from EMR and diet office software system.
• Communicates with diet clerks, clinical dietitians, and nursing unit staff to provide excellent food service to patients.
• Will be expected, as needed, to accept work assignments across departments or El Camino Hospital campuses (Mountain View and Los Gatos) or locations within a 15-mile radius.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Documented proficiency using basic MS Office applications and Outlook software required.
• Demonstrates excellent hospitality and customer service skills.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Previous related experience preferred.

Salary Range: $32.78 - $41.38 USD Hour

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

• Light Work - Walking or standing up to 49% of shift, duties require standard movement, may occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
