Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets in Pittsford, NY is seeking a friendly Host to welcome guests, guide them to tables, and help manage reservations in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

You will be part of a dynamic team, with a focus on excellent service and guest satisfaction, enjoying a supportive work environment and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience, preferably in a retail, restaurant service or hospitality setting.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Preferred: experience with a restaurant POS system such as Micros or OpenTable.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their table.
• Ensure reservations are scheduled and table assignments are planned.
• Manage guests' waiting times to keep experience positive.
• Assist in fast-paced restaurant environment and work with the team.
