Meta is hiring software engineers to join our network engineering teams, developing scalable distributed systems for a hyper-scale data center environment. You will design, implement, and validate drivers, firmware, and software for network devices and AI workloads, while collaborating with hardware, firmware, and test teams to deliver robust solutions.

You will work on CI/CD frameworks, develop automated test suites, and participate in on-call rotations to ensure reliability at scale.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 7+ years software development experience in industry settings (or PhD with 4+ years).
• 3+ years with network devices and products and knowledge of routing/switching protocols.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and scripting (Python/Shell).
• Experience developing and automating test suites.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and validate drivers, firmware, and software for network devices, transport stacks, and AI workloads.
• Debug system-level issues and optimize performance of the software stack.
• Lead integration efforts across partner teams and drive continued development.
• Develop and automate test suites for CI/CD and components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align goals and participate in on-call rotations.
• Design, develop, and deploy services to manage datacenter switches and forwarding functions.
• Develop infrastructure to maintain switch state and enable scalable communication between services.
