Hershey Lodge, an award-winning resort known for its warm hospitality and iconic chocolate themes, is hiring for a Part-Time Host(ess)/Cashier position. This role involves overseeing guest service and satisfaction in the restaurant, with perks such as free admission and parking to Hersheypark, discounts on food and shopping, and more.

Job Responsibilities

• Greet guests and seat them according to their preferences and server rotation*
• Handle opening and closing procedures, including cash control and guest charges*
• Manage reservations, seating charts, answer phones, and ensure service quality, safety, and sanitation*
• Address guest questions, requests, and concerns*
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Previous restaurant service experience preferred
• Ability to operate point-of-sale systems and calculators
• Strong employee and guest relations, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Professional appearance representing the company
• Ability to perform math calculations and handle cash

Job Demands

• Physical requirements include standing (up to 100%), walking, bending, stooping, hearing, speaking, and finger dexterity
