Job summary

JDK Management Company seeks a Host/Cashier to welcome guests, manage front-of-house flow, handle transactions accurately, and create a warm first impression.

A successful candidate brings positive energy, strong communication, and a team-first mindset to every shift. No experience is required, but prior host/cashier experience is a plus; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods is expected.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude and provide excellent customer service.
• Manage seating arrangements and wait lists to ensure smooth restaurant flow and guest satisfaction.
• Accurately process guest payments and handle cash, credit card, and other transactions responsibly.
• Answer phones, assist guests with questions, and support carryout or to-go orders as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, front entrance, and dining areas.
• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and managers to support efficient operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
