JDK Management Company in Charleston, WV is seeking a Host/Cashier to welcome guests, manage front-of-house flow, and handle transactions with accuracy.

You’ll contribute to a warm, friendly guest experience, support seating, carryout orders, and coordinate with servers and managers.

• Manage seating arrangements and wait lists to ensure smooth restaurant flow and guest satisfaction.
• Accurately process guest payments and handle cash, credit card, and other transactions responsibly.
• Answer phones, assist guests with questions, and support carryout or to-go orders as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, front entrance, and dining areas.
• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and managers to support efficient operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

The role

We are looking for a Host/Cashier who is responsible for welcoming guests, managing the front-of-house flow, handling transactions accurately, and creating a warm and friendly first impression.
