Pies & Pints in Carmel, IN is seeking a friendly Host to join our fun, team-based restaurant. You will greet guests with a genuine smile, seat them, and help create a welcoming dining experience while keeping the seating chart organized and the dining room tidy.

Hours to Apply in person: Monday - Friday: 2pm - 4pm

Responsibilities

• Make people happy first and foremost. We exist to put smiles on people’s faces and that is always the first, and most important, responsibility.
• You need be able to clearly communicate.
• Greet every guest with a genuine smile and in a professional manner.
• Walk guests to their table and engage in conversation as you seat them.
• Keeping seating chart organized and following rotation as they seat the dining room.
• Contributing to the team-based environment by helping with the general cleanliness of the dining room and bussing tables when needed.
• Answering phones and assisting guests with call-ahead seating or to go orders.

Skills

• Ability to work with a team and actively engage with the other team members to achieve a common goal
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in a high-pace environment

Compensation & Benefits

• Between $12 and $19/hour including tips
