Kindred Fare - A Spirited Cookery, a renowned Finger Lakes restaurant, is seeking part-time support staff for busy nights from July through October. Training will be provided for new entrants, with preference for restaurant experience in high-volume settings.

You will assist with bus duties, cleaning, stocking glassware, and maintaining a guest-ready dining area. Responsibilities include efficient service, teamwork with all staff, and maintaining a clean station during shifts.

Qualifications

• Entry-level friendly: training provided.
• Previous restaurant experience and high-volume setting preferred but not required.
• To complete side work and cleaning duties to a high standard.
• To work thoroughly and quickly with a sense of urgency.
• To use service trays to bus tables thoroughly and efficiently.
• To thoroughly clean dining room tables, chairs and floor during service.
• To manage cleaning, polishing and stocking of glass and silverware during service.
• To work well in a fast-paced environment and keep up with service.
• To maintain a clean and organized station, dining room and FOH areas.

Kindred Fare - A Spirited Cookery is a full-service restaurant located in the heart of the Finger Lakes with a focus on scratch cookery using seasonal & local ingredients. We have been featured in Forbes, Wine Spectator, Eater, and have won "Best Farm to Table Restaurant" four years in a row by The Finger Lakes Times Readers' Choice Awards. We are extremely popular with locals & travelers to our region with positive online reviews and guest feedback. We have a strong beverage focus with cool climate wine & spirits & are highly engaged in the local industry. On Monday nights our culinary team works together to build a three-course themed prix fixe, something our community looks forward to each week. Our open kitchen celebrates the culinary craft & keeps our whole team in sync with the guests.

We have part time positions available starting April, May or June working 2-5 nights per week starting at 6pm.

We are currently looking for support staff to join our team for busy nights at our lively & social restaurant from July - October. Must be available on 2-5 nights a week plus on weekends from July through October.

What we expect from you:

• Are you new to this? That doesn’t rule you out as this is a great entry level position. We’ll give you the training you’ll need to get up to speed!
