Job summary

P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. is seeking a friendly Host or Hostess to create an exceptional guest experience and manage the flow of the dining area. You will provide a warm first impression, quote wait times, and answer guest questions during peak periods.

No prior experience is required as we offer on-the-job training to help you learn our seating system and service standards. This role supports a welcoming, efficient dining environment across our restaurants.

Responsibilities

• Learn seating layout and how tables are divided into server areas.
• Set and clear tables neatly and efficiently according to standards.
• Learn curbside process and takeout expectations.
• Conduct side-work as required for each shift.

P.F. Chang's Pay Range (based on experience): $17.00 - $20.00 / hour

Job Summary:

The Host is responsible for delivering an excellent hospitality experience by maintaining the overall flow of the restaurant. They provide a positive and professional first and last impression to every guest. In the event there is a wait time, quote an accurate wait time and answer any questions the guest may have.

Job Responsibilities:

• Interact courteously with Guests (answer phones, greet Guests, seat Guests, make reservations, take food orders)
• Uphold our high safety and sanitation standards by completing sanitation practices at front door, host desk, lobby area and crowd control
• Learn restaurant seating layout, how tables are divided into server areas, and how to deliver food
• Set and clear a table neatly and efficiently according to P.F. Chang’s specifications
• Learn curbside process and takeout expectations
• Conducts side-work as required for each shift

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience is not required – we will train you!
