Beefbar in New York City is seeking a polished Host to welcome guests and set the tone for a refined dining experience. You will manage reservations, greet guests, and coordinate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service in a fast-paced, upscale environment.

The ideal candidate has excellent communication, professional appearance, and the stamina to stand for extended periods. Prior fine dining host experience is preferred, with strong multitasking abilities and a guest‑first

Beefbar is looking for a polished and welcoming Host to be the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a warm personality, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced, upscale environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide a positive first impression of Beefbar
• Manage reservations and walk-in guests efficiently
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service flow
• Manage waiting lists during peak hours
• Answer phone calls professionally and handle inquiries
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
• Assist with special events and large party arrangements

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a host in a fine dining establishment preferred
