Job summary

Calhoun's Bearden Hill is seeking a friendly Host to warmly greet guests, seat them, and help manage the dining room flow. You will clear and reset tables and maintain knowledge of the menu. The role involves lifting up to 30 lbs and standing, bending, and walking throughout the shift.

Applicants should be upbeat, courteous, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Meal discounts are available as part of benefits.

Calhoun's is looking for a Host to join their Bearden Hill location!

Our \"Smiling People Greeters.\" This individual has great communication skills and for all intents and purposes has never met a stranger. He/She will oversee the layout of the restaurant and make sure tables are cleared and reset. They greet each Guest with a smile and a welcome, explain and direct our system of seating, and is also in charge of communicating volume levels to Management and Staff.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

TO GO Hosts

• This is position attained after successful Host duty execution or GM approval
• Pleasant phone voice and etiquette
• Listens and takes direction both and from Guests and Management
• Must have excellent menu knowledge
• Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs. frequently
• Position requires standing, bending, and walking the entire workday
• Will be required to enter and exit building numerous times to service To Go Guests in their cars
• Must be able to operate handheld payment devises and cash when necessary
• Be able to multi-task and assist regular Hosts as needed
